| Lori Stevic-Rust, |

Lori graduated with a masters degree in Community Counseling and a doctoral degree in Psychology from Kent State University. Dr. Stevic-Rust completed her internship at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan, with specialty training in clinical health psychology. Dr. Stevic-Rust was also awarded a Diplomate from the American Board of Professional Psychology in Board Certified Clinical Health Psychology (ABPP). In 1990, Dr. Stevic-Rust became a staff psychologist at the VA Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, serving as Renal Psychologist to the Department of Nephrology and coordinator for the Smoking Cessation Clinic in the Behavioral Medicine Division. Dr. Stevic-Rust is Clinical Director for the Geriatric Assessment Program at Lake Hospital Systems, where she also provides consultation-liaison services to the acute units for competency evaluations.
Over the past 10 years, Dr. Stevic-Rust has provided consultation on clinical health issues to business, industry, local television, and health magazines while maintaining a private practice. Dr. Stevic-Rust has published three books on such clinical health-related topics as depression in the medically ill, heart disease and psychological risk factors, and smoking cessation. Dr. Stevic-Rust is also an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University?s Department of Medicine and serves on the board for the Kidney Foundation as well as a variety of children?s organizations. |
