Are your courses available to anyone, regardless of his or her background?
- All courses are available to anyone, regardless of his or her background. Please remember that we must be approved to provide continuing education in your state, and in your field of expertise for the contact hours to count towards your certification.
If you choose your area of interest from the home page you will be presented with a map that shows where we are approved to provide continuing education.
Do you have any free courses?
- CEU4U runs specials all the time for free hours you can use to take courses. If we are not running a special right now, check back with us again later!
- With our refer-a-friend program, you can earn free hours by having your friends sign up and enter your Login ID or email address in the 'referred by' area of the sign up form. When they make a payment and take a course, you get a free hour!

Do you offer a record tracking system as to the number of continuing education hours and courses completed with this site?
- We offer a free service in helping you keep track of how many contact hours or continuing education hours you have left to take to stay accredited. You give us two dates. The dates represent when you were accredited last, and when you are up for renewal again. You also tell us how many ce hours or contact hours you must have. Whenever you log in you will see what courses you have taken in between the two dates you supplied and how many credits you have left to take. You can update your accreditation profile anytime. All records are kept in a secure, confidential and retrievable manner for a minimum of 6 years.
Does the Oncology Nursing Society recognize continuing education contact hours by CEU4U?
- The Oncology Nursing Society recognizes Ohio as an acceptable approval bodiy for ONC-PRO. CEU4U is approved by Ohio Nursing Association as a provider of continuing education for nurses (OH-218).
How can I view the course material objectives without signing up to take the course?
- You will find a listing of courses we offer as well as course objectives under the catalog tab. All you have to do is choose an area of interest and then a category (for example nursing, then cardiovascular) and a course listing for that category will appear. It will show you the course name, course expiration date and the number of contact hours hours. Click on the course name and you will see the course objectives.
I have already taken continuing education hours through your website. Are my CE hours transferable?
- Your credit hours are transferable to any other state that we are accreditated in. We are currently accredited in many States, check the map in your area to see.
I was disconnected while taking a course, course test, course evaluation or paying for hours! What do I do?
- If you lost your connection, due to power outages or your computer crashing or shutting down, you should be able to come back to the site and log back on, without problem.
Should you have a payment missing that was processed, courses that should have been there and are not, or a course in your history that has disappeared, please contact us using the feedback form and we will take care of it as soon as possible.
Refunds are rarely needed since payments are processed immediately and hours are credited immediately.
If I'm required to get 30 CEUs, does that mean I need to purchase 30 hours?
- Most likely you need 30 hours, not 30 CEUs. The general conversion is 1 CEU = 10 contact hours. Usually State Boards require 2 or 3 CEUs total, which is equal to 20 or 30 contact hours.

- The Contact Hour is a 60 minute unit of an organized learning activity. The contact hour is the official unit of measure of credit by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC COA).
The Clock Hour is a 60 minute unit of measure of instructional activity. The clock hour is the official unit of measure of credit by the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).
CEUs is a generic term used to indicate continuing education units. It is used by some organizations to denote continuing education credit but is not recognized by the ANCC COA.
When do you require payment for the courses?
- Our prices are posted on this web site. Browse the catalog and find the course you are interested in. You will be shown a link that will tell you how much that course will cost.
You have the option of paying for one continuing education hour at a time or purchasing a package of ce hours to be taken within a 24-month period. Payments are made before taking the course.
